Two-time Professional Bowl defensive again Vontae Davis died this week on the age of 35.
His brother, ex-NFL tight end Vernon Davis, spoke about his brother’s loss of life in an interview with the Each day Mail.
Vernon stated Vontae collapsed after stepping out of a sauna.
Police say no foul play is suspected, and Vernon stated Vontae “by no means confirmed a historical past” of drug use.

“This factor undoubtedly caught me unexpectedly. I simply do not know what to make of it,” Vernon advised the Each day Mail. “I am leaning on the detectives to determine it out, however, proper now, now we have no solutions.

Vontae was a first-round draft choose in 2009 by the Miami Dolphins, and he spent three seasons with the Dolphins earlier than becoming a member of the Indianapolis Colts in 2012. He made two Professional Bowls with Indy earlier than heading to the Payments in 2018.
