Police in Florida have arrested a person in a deadly capturing that injured Auburn running back Brian Battie and killed his brother, Tommie L. Battie IV, over the weekend.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Workplace introduced Wednesday Darryl Bernard Brookins, 28, was taken into custody and charged with murder, tried homicide and possession of a firearm within the Saturday capturing that left 4 injured and one useless.
The capturing befell on the Tallywood Centre Plaza car parking zone within the early morning hours of Could 18. Police stated after they arrived Tommie Battie was discovered “deceased.”

His brother, Brian Battie, was amongst these injured and transported to a hospital.
Auburn coach Hugh Freeze posted on social media Monday that Battie was “nonetheless on a ventilator” after a setback yesterday.
