follows Fry, Leela, and Bender as they work for Planet Specific within the thirty first century, delivering packages throughout the universe.
Excellent news, all people! Futurama is again for a twelfth season subsequent week, and Matt Groening and firm simply revealed the sequence’ upcoming slate of visitor stars at their panel at San Diego Comedian-Con. Danny Trejo, Kyle MacLachlan, and LeVar Burton – and plenty of others – might be lending their voices to the Hulu animated sequence subsequent season.
Trejo, Renée Victor, and Ana Ortiz will flip up as residents of Bender’s ancestral robotic village in Mexico; Trejo will play his cousin Doblando, Victor his grandmother Abuelatron, and Ortiz as his long-lost love, the robotic matador Marquita. Tim Gunn and Cara Delevingne will play themselves (or their dwelling, jarred heads) in an episode set at Milan’s Vogue Week, whereas Burton will play an unlicenced hologram of himself. Bill Nye will flip as much as host the Inventors’ Awards, whereas fellow science man Neil deGrasse Tyson may even guest-star as himself, on the path of a cosmic thriller. MacLachlan, in an homage to his coffee-loving position as FBI Agent Dale Cooper on Twin Peaks, will play himself, appreciating a cup of the universe’s greatest espresso. Tom Kenny, the voice behind SpongeBob SquarePants, amongst many others, will play an alien who forces the Planet Specific crew to play a sequence of kids’s video games – to the loss of life! Kenny is a veteran of Futurama, having performed quite a few characters over the course of the sequence – most notably, Fry’s brother, Yancy.
What Is ‘Futurama’ About?
Set within the thirty first century, Futurama revolves round Philip J. Fry (Billy West), a Twentieth-century supply boy who was by accident cryogenically frozen for a thousand years and awoken within the thrilling world of tomorrow – the place he continues to be a supply boy. Working for Planet Specific, a space-faring supply service run by Fry’s aged descendant Professor Philo Farnsworth (additionally West), he works alongside Kind A mutant Leela (Katey Sagal), hedonistic robotic Bender (John DiMaggio), uptight bureaucrat Hermes (Phil LaMarr), ditzy intern Amy (Lauren Tom), and oddball doctor Dr. Zoidberg (West but once more).
