Legendary MLB manager Whitey Herzog dead at 92

Baseball Corridor of Famer Whitey Herzog, who gained a World Sequence as supervisor with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1982, has died, the group introduced Tuesday. He was 92.

“All the Cardinals household is heartbroken to study of the passing of Corridor of Famer and World Sequence champion supervisor Whitey Herzog on the age of 92,” the Cardinals mentioned in a press release posted to X.
