Meta Chief Government Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday apologized to households at a U.S. Senate listening to in regards to the influence that social media has on kids.
Underneath prodding from Republican Senator Josh Hawley, Zuckerberg stood up and addressed households who held up photos of their kids who they stated had been harmed by social media.
Because the listening to kicked off, the committee performed a video wherein kids spoke about being bullied on social media platforms.
Senators recounted tales of younger individuals taking their very own lives after being extorted for cash after sharing photographs with sexual predators.
