Hundreds of thousands gathered throughout North America on Monday to bask within the glory of the Nice American Eclipse — the second when the moon passes between the Earth and the solar. 

The path of totality measures greater than 100 miles broad and can first be seen on Mexico’s Pacific coast earlier than shifting northeast via Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois and upward towards New York, New Hampshire and Maine, then on to Canada.
