Tigers’ Riley Greene rips pants sliding into home, and MLB uniform criticisms continue to mount


There was some new drama associated to new MLB uniforms Tuesday afternoon when Detroit Tigers left fielder Riley Greene cut up his pants sliding into residence.

The uniform mishap occurred throughout Detroit’s ninth-inning rally when Greene was rounding the bases from second. Sliding into residence, Greene’s pants appeared to burst open on the seam, revealing his compression pants.

Video of Greene within the dugout confirmed his teammates laughing in disbelief.

The brand new MLB uniforms by Fanatics and Nike have come underneath scrutiny this season over their high quality.
